Items range from earrings to bracelets, card holders and other fine leather accessories offered by Jill's Homestead. Items are made in our workshop in Chariton, IA. We occasionally collaborate on JH Items such as our latest candle collection. You never know what you will get in your monthly box!
All boxes typically include new or exclusive designs or colors.
Picture provided is an example of what a Nest Box might contain.
If you order ON OR BEFORE THE 9TH of the month you will receive the current Nest Box.
If you order AFTER THE 9TH of the month you will be charged at the time of purchase, however, when you receive your Nest Box the following month, you will not be charged for that month.
Boxes will be priced at $59, but will have a total retail value well over the price of the box. Occasionally, we send out products worth over $100 in just one box!
The Nest Boxes will ship on the third Thursday of every month; you will receive tracking information when your box ships.
You may cancel your Nest Box at anytime.
Any Cancellations, Holds, or Changes to your account can be managed through the email that you will receive after purchasing your Nest Box.

Smooth leather bags are generally handcrafted within 5–8 business days.
Eligible unused items may be returned within 14 calendar days for store credit. Customer-paid return shipping and a 4% restocking fee apply. Custom orders, specialty straps, signature fringe bags, and qualifying promotional items are not eligible for returns.
Leather + care
Our premium full-grain leather may show natural range markings, grain variation, and subtle color differences. That honest character is part of every piece.
Condition smooth leather periodically with a high-quality leather conditioner. Cowhide requires no treatment and should be carried with the hair side facing away from the body to minimize friction.

Your piece begins as a full hide in our Chariton workshop. Our small team cuts, sews, sets the hardware, and finishes every piece in-house, giving the leather and every detail the time it deserves.

This was my first Nest box subscription and It t was lovely! Two full grain leather braided bracelets- one red, one white. A pair of earrings “petal” with both leather and then red bandanaon the inside. And then, as a flare for one of Jill’s handbags, a large feather( made of leather)red, medium in white and smakk in blue, layered on top of each other- colors celebrating America’s 250 year birthday. All products received were beautiful and well made. Thanks ZJill/Jill’s team!

Not All Leather is Created Equal
“Genuine leather” is not a grade of quality. The term can include leather that has been heavily processed, coated, or even reconstructed from leather fibers and other materials.
At JH Fine Leather Goods, we use full-grain leather — the most natural and intact part of the hide, with its original grain, texture, and character preserved.
Because the surface hasn’t been manufactured to hide its natural beauty, full-grain leather ages differently. Over time, it softens, develops a rich patina, and becomes uniquely yours.
