This bag is my second purchase from Jill's Homestead. My first was The Shorty Tote. I wanted to get a full sized tote & since Black is a classic, go-to for me, I figured it would be the best color to choose from (& there are so many others that are calling me!) I am typically not a "large" bag carry person but I wanted to check it out. I needed to carry a bunch of faux flowers to my small-ish wedding last month & instead of just using boxes, I figured, "let's put this bag to the test!" It fit a boxed bridal faux silk flower bouquet, a half dozen boxed silk flower ladies' corsages & a half dozen boxed mens' boutonnières. Then at the wedding, I ended up with all of the guys' wallets, sunglass cases/sunglasses & things that they didn't have room for in their suit pockets. Point being, everything fit & nothing was heavy. The thickness of the leather is perfect - not too thick, definitely not flimsy. I had the Crossbody Strap and D Rings added to my purchase. I love the strap leather so much - it is soft but strong! I usually am a medium carry person but I know this bag will get a lot of use when I go places when I need to pack a sweater or a lunch and also for travel. Anyone that loves tote bags in general needs to try one from Jill's Homestead. I highly recommend!
